It’s REAL! (v-cam)
It’s REAL! I wasn’t dreaming. A few months back I accidentally came across a blog that was talking about something they could use in Flash called the V-camera. I wanted to know more about it but for reasons I can’t remember I never found out any more about it. I went all this time thinking it was a tool that was in CS3, and I searched high and low through that program to find that thing… but my search was in vain. One of my teachers told me only a few days ago there was no such tool in Flash. Then he said maybe it’s action scripting. D’oh! Well, tonight I found it… an let me tell you flash animators out there… this thing will make animating just that bit easier. If you’ve seen Adam Phillips work in his Flash based Brakenwood adventures then you’ve seen the AS2 version in action. I’m putting a link to both versions of the camera. One is compatible with older versions of Flash while the newer version works well with CS3. Try ‘em out they’re great, I’ve already started brainstorming on how to implicate them into my next short. I dunno’ maybe I’m late learning about this tool and all of you guys have been using it since time began or something. But hey, better late than never, right?
